Cl8 seems kinda... dead... and I'm bored, so I'm just posting my History French Revolution Storybook pages, which, for some stupid reason, I wanted to color in Photoshop, and my favorite commissions from my brief stint in a Gaian avatar art shop.

Damaxan's the best, I think. x-x; FlamingAngel and Dr. Twinkle: I screwed up the lineart very muchly. But I like the coloring. So here they are.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAH. I finally learned how to use adjustment layers here. These were fun.

I apologize in advance for the UBER long post.

Ok, so I'll start with the important notice first. For those of you who browse Dev-Art a lot, you might know who Silent Reaper is, the artist who draws those hilarious Death Note comics. Well, apparently, she's hosting a contest to "design a grim-reaper." And naturally, I went and looked through some of the submitted art. And you know what I found out?

THEY SUCK. Compared to people to YOU PEOPLE. You guys can do a million times better then they can. So thats why I encourage you to join the contest. :)

Prizes are subscription and art from her. Due date is like Dec something. Anyway, check out the link to find out more about contest rules, goals, prizes, etc. I've already persuaded Kara and Vanessa, so you people (*cough* Kim *cough*), should try.

Boxer

I put this in the cloud 8 book to, cause I was too lazy to draw something so else, so I just decided to finish it.

This is my first time drawing boxing gloves. I always have a "first-time" drawing something in some pic. I WOULD draw him shirtless, but then Kim would go blind with the ugliness and she wouldn't be able to draw any more purdy pictures. XD

P.S. His is headband is flying because his enormous chi level is over 5000. And ignore the fact that my boxing ring is inaccurate, since the strings are actually supposed to be attached by this swivel ring things...

More doodling, copic-markering goodness. And surprisingly, the guy actually looks half-decent. ish. One thing I do like is the hair and eyes though.

Hmm, well it's been awhile.

Long Rant:

We'll start with Keratin Jane, an assassin-for-hire who took on the carnival theme after blowing half her face off from bomb-making and made a mask for herself. There's not much a story to her...I was too lazy to read the whole thing.

Next is Mr. FooFoo, a gay man in a bunny costume who is happy to slaughter anyone to protect this little girl he meets, Gem. Again...a long story I didn't want to finish.

Then there's this wolf/bird/lion thing I saw in a flash movie and thought it'd be cool to draw.

Last is Elipie, some supposedly Terror of the High Seas. I didn't even bother starting to read that one, I just saw the artwork and thought she looked cool. :3

Yeah they obviously aren't my characters. Still fun to draw though. And I had to resize it after I scanned it...and ruined a lot of the work. :<
